Hotel Riu Guanacaste - All Inclusive
It’s nothing like Costa Rica, and they destroyed ann estuary to build it, so it’s in a way the opposite of what Costa Rica means to many. That being said, it’s a beautifully maintained resort with friendly staff and plenty to do for a few nights stay.

The pool view was amazing. Food and drinks were good and the shuttle into town was a lovely addition so we could go out for dinner. Every room has a view as well.

Hotel Riu Palace Costa Rica - All Inclusive
Outdoor facilities were great. Rooms are dated, left much to be desired. Staff was great. Drinks were plentiful. Food was a B-. Shows were okay. A lot less busy than the Riu next door which was nice. The waterpark was good but no food and drinks were limited. March is hot…like 95-105 hot so be ...

The property is good. You can tell it's getting a bit old. Could use some updates The shuttle is nice to get around, and everything is reasonably close if you want to walk up and down the roads.

The pictures looked nothing like the resort. The resort was run down, every lounger was broken, hammocks had holes etc. The room was not the cleanest- mirrors had a thick film, perimeter + corners all had debris.
